In Ghana, Unique Agent Simão gets in touch with all stakeholders to reinforce their willpower and dedication to relaxed political elections

The Unique Agent of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Workplace for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Leonardo Santos Simão, ended the other day a three-day check out to Ghana. He joined the stakeholder online forum that occurred on 30 July in Kumasi, to prepare of the upcoming governmental political elections to be hung on 7 December 2024.

Throughout his check out, Mr. Simão had conferences with Her Ladyship Gertrude Torkornoo, Principal Justice, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, Examiner General of the Authorities, previous Head of state John Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Honorable Simon Osei-Mensah, Ashanti Regional Priest, Rev. Ernest Adu Gyamfi, Chairman of the Board of the National Tranquility Council (NPC), media residences.

In his treatment at the Kumasi stakeholder online forum, the Unique Agent advised all stakeholders “to reinforce their willpower and dedication to relaxed political elections, via private accountable actions, cooperation and long-term discussion with others, in search of that goal, and develop rely on the selecting procedure”. Mr. Simão highlighted that these political elections will certainly once again check the toughness of Ghana’s thirty-year-old autonomous procedure.

The Unique Agent Simão restated the United Nations preparedness to go along with Ghana’s autonomous debt consolidation.
