In conformity with the existing Contract in between the Federal Government of the Republic of Korea and the Federal Government of the Republic of Uganda worrying Finances from the Economic Growth Teamwork Fund, joined April 13, 2012, the Ugandan Preacher of Financing Hon. Matia Kasaija, along with the Korean Preacher of Foreign Matters Hon. Cho Tae-yul, have, today 5th June 2024, authorized the Structure Contract for a $500m finance from Korea EXIM Financial institution.
The event occurred at the Oriental Ministry of Foreign Matters in Seoul on the sidelines of the First Korea-Africa Top which ended today. Under the regards to the Structure Contract, the Oriental Federal government will make it possible for the Ugandan Federal government to get finances from the Economic Growth Teamwork Fund (EDCF) as much as an optimum dedication quantity in Oriental Won not going beyond the matching of 5 Hundred Million United States bucks (US$ 500,000,000) for the years 2024 via 2028 to fund EDCF finance tasks in the Republic of Uganda. Hon. Kasaija was gone along with by Amb. Elly Kamahungye Kafeero, Supervisor for Regional and International Teamwork and Ms. Lenina M. Rukikaire, First Assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Matters, Uganda.
